All Dogs Great and Small Rescue rehomes abandoned dogs from Romania, providing medical care and fostering them until they find homes in the UK.

The fee and what it covers

The rescue charges an adoption donation of £250 per dog, which covers spaying or neutering (for dogs over 7 months), a vet check, EU pet passport, microchip, vaccinations (DHPPi, leptospirosis and rabies), flea and worm treatment, and 4DX and Brucellosis tests.

Transport is quoted separately, at about £255 from Romania to your home address in England and Wales, or to a meeting point (negotiable, in the Fife area) in Scotland. That makes the all-in cost roughly £505.

The process

As part of its checks, the rescue asks applicants for a reference from a vet or another professional.

  • Cats: at the rescue's discretion. It says most of its dogs are fine with cats, but there isn't always a way to test this.
  • Children: the rescue advises using your own discretion if you have young children.

After you adopt

The rescue offers rescue back-up for 3 months after adoption, and says it will take the dog back.

Charity status

We couldn't find a charity number on the rescue's website, and we found no matching entry on the Charity Commission's register for England and Wales (checked 9 October 2026). Not every rescue group is a registered charity, so ask the rescue directly about its status if it matters to you.
